Our employee spotlight this week is on Ray Dover. Ray handles all of the merchandise that comes in and out of the store- which is no small task!! He is also our designated chandelier guy, which can be very tedious! Basically, Ray is a saint for putting up with 10+ women who he works with!!!

Backroom Guy AKA Warehouse Manager

Before working at Laura of Pembroke, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

I would have to say my 20 years as a marine.

If you could switch your job with anyone else within LOP, whose job would you want?

I think I'm best suited for the warehouse... you wouldn't want me decorating your home!

What do you like most about working at LOP? 

The pleasantness and although it may seem same ol everyday, it's not.

Just over 2 years

What is your all time favorite LOP purchase? 

Kate Spade and Hudson don't look good on me so I'd have to say my desk chair.

Best vacation you’ve been to? 

in 2008 several of my children and I attended a son's wedding in the Philippines.

A good euchre game or just puttering around the house.
